Course Overview
In B.C., workers who supervise asbestos abatement work must hold the appropriate WorkSafeBC asbestos certification.
This 1-day comprehensive training course is designed for supervisors and others responsible for managing asbestos abatement worksites and workers. The course covers the core competencies required for Level 3 (Asbestos Safety Leader) certification.
Participants learn how to plan, supervise, and oversee asbestos abatement work while managing worker and public exposure, maintaining regulatory compliance, communicating effectively with work crews, and ensuring work is completed safely.
RJ & Associates is a WorkSafeBC-approved Level 3 asbestos training provider. Participants who successfully complete the required training are eligible to complete the WorkSafeBC certification examination for Level 3 Asbestos Safety Leader certification.
